Imagine an app where you can toss in all the images that you want to create a collage that you are absolutely proud of – add some sparkling stardust, some pizzazz and then some, and what you end up with is Pic Collage. For a free app, this app is actually quite a handy piece of work, letting you add images from your phone, search the web, add text, and an awesome new feature that lets you add videos from YouTube as well.

The interface is pretty simple and user-friendly, and starts you off with a blank template where you get to choose every single thing, from the background, to the images, and text. For single frame collages, you can add multiple pictures that can be rearranged, tilted and increased or decreased in size by two-fingered pinch-zoom action

. The app also offers multi-frame pic-stitch collages that let you create custom frames and images. The app offers the ability to edit the images through a linked feature that supports Aviary if you have that installed. Once you’re done, simply save the collage to your photo stream, or if you’re not too happy, then flick the images towards the top right to delete them from your workspace.

The free app is quite extensive in the list of features and options that it offers, however, it does leave a watermark at the bottom, which can stick out as a bit of a sore thumb. Having said that, Pic Collage is one of the original collage apps and it offers a whole bunch of really good features that offer endless hours of fun. Create your own custom greeting cards, collages that can be framed, share this to the world of Pic Collage or your favourite social app. The app is free to download on both Appstores and is available for devices running iOS7 and up, and Android 2.3 and up.
